Reaction Tackle's original four-strand braid is a main-line option when you want low stretch and a separately chosen leader. Match strength and diameter to the reel, lure and cover. Its broad size range changes the amount a reel can hold considerably, so plan the working braid first and use backing to occupy any remaining space.

Choosing your Reaction 4-Strand strength
Pick the test for the rod, lure and cover, then check the four-strand diameter. The 6-15 lb options are quite different physical sizes from the 50-80 lb options.
A 150-yard package and a 3,000-yard package of the same test have the same checked diameter. The larger package is supply for longer fills or multiple reels, not stronger line.
Do not copy X8 or Never Fade specifications into this chart. Similar colors and pound labels do not establish the same product construction.

Does this chart cover Reaction X8?
No. It covers the standard Moss Green four-strand listing. X8 and Ice Braid have separate constructions and diameter charts.
Is the 65 lb diameter 0.40 mm?
The current official four-strand list says 0.45 mm at 65 lb. Legacy or other-formulation values are not used here.
Is 150 yards enough?
Only when the chosen working length fits within it with suitable reserve. Use the reel capacity estimate to plan any backing underneath.
