The lighter diameters can leave substantial unused capacity on a reel, making backing useful beneath a chosen working length. Choose the actual verified 10/15/20/30/50/65 lb test for the rod, lure and cover. The old 40 lb row remains excluded until its exact product specifications are established.
Use the official GSB-F300 diameter instead of a generic Hi-Seas Braid entry. These mainline specifications do not apply to Downrigger Braid.
A large numerical capacity with fine braid is not a recommendation to fill every yard with braid. Select a useful working length and plan any remaining volume as backing.

Where is the 40 lb row?
